The most startling thing about the j. lo blow job clip is the planned reference to curb job. That seems racist to suggest that J. Lo's old neighborhood is filled with sadistic gang killers.

it's sensationalist, and a tasteless image to invoke; but i think it's more a product of fox' general shittiness than direct racist intent. the hit was called "jenny from the block," right? and they wanted a clever twist from "block party," so they came up with "curb job."

and just think; if they'd never made that connection, we wouldn't have had that clip to love and cherish at all.
