The bride returns

Amanda Palmer, of The Dresden Dolls, blogs about her recent reprisal of her role as "The Bride" in Harvard Square. This one is really for those that remember seeing her street performances in Harvard Square in the late 90's, back before her band acquired some fame.

I'm not sure that was Amanda you encountered (it was in Davis), but I do remember that.

hey, you know what i love? self-important artist types.

what makes it hard for me to despise her is that i like her band, i really do, and there's something naively sweet about self-important artist types.

but at the end of the day, she's a drama kid from lexington hs who plays piano. where have i heard that before?
