Video of lawyer showing up drunk to court

Last month, a Las Vegas lawyer showed up to court drunk, claiming that he had been in a car accident. After interrogating him in chambers, the judge ordered a breathalyzer test, which he failed miserably, leading to a mistrial. Someone posted the court video on YouTube: part 1, wherein the lawyer claims that he had an accident; part 2, wherein the lawyer fails a breathalyzer test and gets scolded by the judge. Some choice quotes: 1) "I don't see the probable cause for me to blow." 2)"Philisophically, I've never called 911 in my life." (via mb)

he blew a .075. that's not drunk! Sure, the breathalyzer was done at 1:47 and he showed up to court at 11:15, but still. also, he claimed both his grandparents died?!

True, "failed miserably" is a bit strong. But given the time difference, and that a .08 level is enough for DUI in many states, I think he failed.
