David Gordon Green may direct Suspiria remake

Odd film news of the day: David Gordon Green has written and may direct a remake of Dario Argento's classic horror film, Suspiria. A big change-up from his Southern Gothic films like George Washington and Undertow. (via aicn)

I saw Suspipria this summer in a cemetery with New Yorker (not NYA, the other New Yorker). The cemetery was a good setting for it.

Love that film. Also, DGG has been changing things up a bit. He directed the Seth Rogan Pot/Action comedy called Pineapple Express. I saw him around Sony every so often when I was working there.

I saw DGG speak at a screening for his film All the Real Girls last week. He mentioned a secret horror project at the time as well as a film with George Clooney. I loved ATRG and his new film Snow Angels opens this week in limited release.

Wait, if I'm reading NYA right, there exists such a thing as a pot action comedy. Dude, where's my AK?
