David Cross
-
Six months ago, I mentioned that Bob Odenkirk and David Cross were working on a new show for HBO, the network that produced Mr. Show. Now, new details have emerged about the show, titled David's Situation:
Odenkirk and Cross co-wrote the project, which will star Cross as himself. He leaves Hollywood to move into a suburban, gated community where he has two roommates, a right-wing conservative and a liberal hippie.
That could be the description of a terrible sitcom on a network, but I have high hopes. (via aicn) (2) #3/21/2008

David Cross defends his appearance in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.
I have not seen the movie so I can't really comment to whether it's an "evil" or "dangerous" "piece of shit" or not. The reason I haven't seen the movie is because I am not eight years old.

Bob Odenkirk and David Cross, the comedic geniuses behind Mr. Show, are working on a new show for HBO, supposedly a sitcom. And right when I was considering canceling my subscription! (After The Wire Season 5, of course.)

David Cross on why Arrested Development's ratings struggled. Sort of. (via waxy)

"Indie" musicians such as Arcade Fire, Beck, and Davendra Banhart mock "Do They Know It's Christmas?" with "Do They Know It's Hallowe'en?" Includes a video, which is arguably better than the song. This has been around for a few weeks now, but I was waiting for the right time to post -- i.e., the day before All Saint's Day! The day after Cabbage Night! Oh, and I think David Cross has the most recognizable voice than anyone else currently living.
