  • A brief history of the Taser, and its quick acceptance as a tool of "pain compliance."
    The fact is a Taser will not kill a normal, healthy person under controlled circumstances. The problem is that Tasers are rarely used against normal, healthy people in controlled circumstances.

  • Yet another story, this one at the Vancouver airport, about an innocent man being killed by police misuse of Tasers. I hope there's an uproar in Canada about this, and that police everywhere begin to treat Tasers more like guns. (via bb) (10) #
