Trailer for Burn After Reading

The trailer for Burn After Reading, the Coen Brothers' next film. (iTunes required, I think.) Great cast, but it could turn out to be another one of those forgettable Coen comedies. (See, e.g., The Ladykillers and Intolerable Cruelty.)

nah, it looks okay. i'm encouraged because the words "brian" and "grazier" do not seem to be involved (see: "intolerable movie.")

also, i didn't *hate* ladykillers. it just missed the mark.

also, brad pitt may not fit here, we'll see.

I hated neither Ladykillers nor Intolerable Cruelty, although I preferred the latter. Both were, however, forgettable.

It looks pretty pretty good. Clooney scares me the most. Did you see his terrible mugging in Leatherheads? But the best thing about this trailer, barring the cast, is that it was shot in Brooklyn Heights on our streets.

my curiosity is piqued. but it looks like it's relying on too many stars. all good actors, but who knows?

Why did that have to be on ITunes? What a hassle.

That seemed kind of funny, though it treaded awfully close to a "Where's the money, Lebowski" line.

Let's just hope it's not "You don't mess with the Zohan" all over again.
